traditional settlement of Klima on the wonderful island of Milos. The three-storey edifice which houses the accommodation was originally built in 1920 by the grandfather of the family and sailor, Nikolaos Prevenas. Then, it functioned as a \u201cSirma\u201d, one of the traditional buildings of Milos where fishermen used to keep their fishing boats. Since then, it has passed from generation to generation, and as of 2015 it has been operated as an accommodation complex by the two brothers of the family, Nikolis Prevenas and Stefanis Prevenas. In 2021 it was renovated and expanded, without however losing any of its traditional elements and feel. Classic features such as the volcanic formations and brightly colored doors remain intact, offering an otherworldly and yet deeply intimate experience to all Bedsheets, towels and blankets are also from the same brand which is premium in European standards. \nBut luxury doesn\u2019t stop here. The view (particularly at sunset) is breathtaking and it was incredible to be able to swim right on your doorstep and watch the passing boats.\n\nNiki and Nikolas went above and beyond as hosts - they were so warm and giving of their time, with lots of recommendations, drinks, snacks and fresh fruit for us. They even gifted us a gorgeous Venus de Milo candle, handmade by Nikolas!\n\nMy only warning is accessibility, if that is a concern: you have to walk over stones and wet ground to reach the boathouse, which is on a first floor. You live next to the water, swimming there is beautiful. The greek people are very warm-hearted and friendly. The restaurant \"Astakas\" was our favorite dining spot ( 100m from the house, delicious fish and seafood). Maria is a great host and we loved the suite with this dreaming view with the most beautiful sunsets in the Cyclades.
